SUMMARY:White Folks Dismantling White Supremacy
DESCRIPTION:White Folks Dismantling White Supremacy  Over the past year\, A
 my has been periodically offering a class entitled “White Folks Dismantl
 ing White Supremacy”.  In Amy’s classes\, attendees have listened to 
 some of the Scene on Radio podcast series called “Seeing White” and ha
 d discussions of racism in our culture.\n\nThe Action Council and the Adul
 t Religious Education Committee are now sponsoring an expanded version of 
 Amy’s class.  The new class will meet twice a month\, on the second and
  fourth Tuesday evenings of each month from 7:15 to 8:45 via Zoom.\n\n 	Th
 e first class will begin on Tuesday\, August 11\, with another episode fro
 m Scene on Radio and will be led by Amy.\n 	The second class on Tuesday\, 
 August 25\, will be led by Kristi Iverson and Susan Owicki.  It will have
  a different format and will include opportunities for action and reflecti
 on.\n\nWe anticipate the class will continue in this format throughout the
  fall\, with the second Tuesday sessions focused on podcasts and the fourt
 h Tuesday sessions focused on action and reflection.  Stay tuned for more
