From the Associate Minister of Religious Education – Feb 2022

Once again, there are in-person Sunday services at 9:30, the same time as Sunday school. You can come, bring your child to Sunday school, and attend the service. It’s a nice break for both you, and your children.

All in-person programs are outdoors, masked, and distanced. We have free play for ages 3 and up (if toilet trained) in the front play area. We have Sunday school classes for gr. K-2, gr. 3-5, and gr. 6-8. After the service, you can accompany your child to the side playground, and talk with other parents while your child plays with others.

We all know there’s an epidemic of anxiety and depression in children, teens, and adults due to isolation caused by the pandemic. We also know that in-person fun activities can relieve the isolation that may lead to these illnesses. I hope you come to UUCPA on Sunday mornings, for the sake of your family’s mental wellbeing. If it’s too much to get up on Sunday morning, I hope you can find other COVID-safe ways to have in-person contact for everyone in your family.

Hope to see you soon!
