Join the wave of the future by helping us to experiment with a video class! The topic: science fiction and fantasy. The meeting method: via Zoom (meeting ID 250-109-6676), 7 to 9 pm. If there’s interest, we’ll keep it going and solicit ideas for future books / movies from the members.
The first session is Wednesday, February 20, so you’ll want to start reading now. Our first book: the Hugo and Nebula Award-winning classic by Ursula K. LeGuin, The Left Hand of Darkness. It was published 50 years ago, yet is startlingly current in its exploration of friendship, gender, and the attempt to understand other cultures. Facilitated by Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern.
