Helping Hands Service Project – March 4 – March 25

The Children’s and Youth Religious Education Committee (CYRE) is always looking for ways to teach our children and youth how they can make a direct, positive impact in the world. We are having a clothing drive for our local twin’s club, Mid-Peninsula Parent’s of Multiples (MPPOM). The drive started March 4 and continues to March 25 so there is still time for you to help.

For low-income families, having twins or triplets is both a huge blessing and a financial strain. MPPOM’s 501c3 program, Help- ing Hands, sponsors 46 Bay Area Peninsula-based, low-income fam- ilies with young twins or triplets. They are collecting new or gently used clothing to distribute equally to the Helping Hands families, and are currently in particular need of toddler size clothing (3T, 4T and 5T) for both boys and girls. Diapers in various sizes are also always welcome. Please bring your donation to church and either give it to Kris Geering or place it in the donation box in the lobby — final day to donate is March 25.
