Hybrid Services Task Force is underway

The Board of Trustees watches public health recommendations to evaluate which in-person activities are safe. In order to ready the congregation to resume in-person Sunday services when the Board gives the green light, we have convened the Hybrid Services Task Force. The task force met for the first time this week and is now divided into teams working on worship / music content and format, technology and physical facilities, on-site logistics and staffing for safety, engagement, coordination with other programs (particularly Children and Youth Religious Education), and intra-UUCPA communications. There are a lot of questions to resolve and the COVID situation is fluid and unpredictable, but we know some things for certain: we will continue to livestream our services, and we will base our recommendations on the current science.

We’ll be seeking your input, so please watch this space!

The members of the task force are Amy Morgenstern (chair), Bruce Olstad, Byron Brown, Clark Zhang, Harry Wachob, Heather Chen, Jeff Cashdollar, Linda Henigin, Paul Kostka, Tim Berry, and William Phelps. You can reach us at hybridservices AT uucpa.org. –Amy
