The last day of 2021 brought the loss of George Burton Norall of Palo Alto. He was a teacher and administrator in Berkeley, Daly City, and Menlo Park schools. Burt, a graduate of U.C. Berkeley (B.A.) and Stanford (M.A.), was committed to quality education for all students and strong support for educators. He devoted his career to these goals. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Maria, and his son, Steven, of Palo Alto, as well as granddaughter Zoe.
