Dear UUCPA Members and Friends,
The fearless hybrid services task force met again this past Friday to figure out what is possible given the Delta variant surge in our area. The group decided that Aug. 29th is not a safe time to start our in-person, indoor services.
However, we know the wait for in-person worship has simply been too long for many of us. Therefore, we have begun planning for in-person, outdoor services that could begin in mid-to-late September. While there are many logistical questions to answer, like seating, amplification, and registration, we are confident that these can be overcome in the coming weeks. Note that the remote service will remain an option for anyone who wants it.
Please be patient and bring your flexibility to the table as we move into this next phase of learning how to come together, even as COVID persists.
