Intergenerational Thanksgiving service on Nov. 18

We’ll have our annual intergenerational Thanksgiving service on Sunday, Nov. 18. Children are invited to stay during the entire service for intergenerational services, and this is a chance for older kids to build the skill of participating in common worship with other age groups — but there will also be supervised childcare on the playground as usual, for those kids who aren’t ready to sit through the entire service.

During this service, Dan will tell the story of Thanksgiving. We’ll kick off the annual “Guest at Your Table” program of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, which is an opportunity for kids to learn about helping others around the world (if you’ve seen the Guest at Your Table kick-off before, you know it is worth seeing again). And you can expect other kid-friendly elements during the 9:30 service as well.
