Looking for great summer reading?

I hope you have some downtime. If you expect to be lounging on the beach, on a plane, or at home, you’ll need books that are fun to read but don’t insult your intelligence. Here’s the perfect combination, with a bonus–a chance to talk with other UUCPA folks about the book, because you’re going to want to share. Get a hold of The Once and Future Witches, by Alix E. Harrow, and then join the Sci-Fi / Fantasy Discussion Group on August 18 for a lively discussion.

P. Djèlí Clark, author The Black God’s Drum, says, “This book is an amazing bit of spellcraft and resistance so needed in our times, and a reminder that secret words and ways can never be truly and properly lost, as long as there are tongues to speak them and ears to listen.”

All the information you need is here.

Hope to see you on August 18!

Happy reading!

Take care, Amy
