Nominate a Justice Partner

Would you like to suggest a non-profit organization for Justice Partner?  Each month the Church supports a social justice organization by donating one Sunday’s plate collection to the organization.  Suggestions for new partners and support for existing partners should be sent to the Action Council (email actioncouncil@uucpa.org or talk to an action council member) before Mon, Mar 13.

The Action Council generally prefers organizations that are small and local, and prioritizes those in which a congregant is actively involved.  If you’d like to suggest an organization, just email actioncouncil@uucpa.org and tell us about it.

The Action Council will review the current and proposed organizations and present a slate of partners for the 2023-24 fiscal year at the Annual Meeting on April 23, 2023, for a congregational vote.

UUCPA is supporting the following organizations for the current fiscal year (2022-23):

American Muslim Voice

Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity (IM4HI)

Outlet

Ada’s Cafe

Hotel de Zink

South Bay Sanctuary Covenant

Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ)

Acterra

AbilityPath (formerly Abilities United)

California Interfaith Power and Light

Heart and Home

Community Health Awareness Council
