Pacific Western Region Assembly April Meeting April 27-29

Folks who have experienced a UU Assembly have raved about how great it is to spend a weekend in the company of hundreds of UUs. The PWR* Assembly is April 27-29 in Portland, OR. Regional Assembly is for the Whole Family!

There are fantastic options for UUs of all ages, with a UU Kids Camp for ages 5-14, a Youth Assembly for ages 14-18, and high-quality childcare for infants to age 4. Families can spend time together, too, sharing the experiences of the opening ceremony, the Sunday morning worship, mealtimes, and more. There are lots of activities, workshops and inspiring speakers at the Assembly. Check out https://tinyurl.com/y9933f5b for more information.

If you’d like to be a delegate to the Assembly and represent our congregation in the business meetings, please talk to a member of the Nominating Committee (Bill Hilton, chair). There are funds available to help offset your costs to attend. Please talk to Mark Erickson, Denominational Concerns portfolio holder on the Board, or to Sally Ahnger, Board President, to find out more.

I hope you will consider attending!

*UUCPA belongs to the Pacific Central District (PCD) which is part of the Pacific Western Region (PWR). PWR is made up of 4 districts: PCD, Pacific Southwest District, Pacific Northwest District and Mountain Desert District, basically everything in the western third of the U.S.
