Clocks go back at 2 a.m. today! Don’t forget, or you will arrive at the service very early! (Not the end of the world. We’ll give you a cup of coffee and you’ll have lots of time to chat and relax.)

Justice doesn’t just happen when good people come together to do the work, and it doesn’t happen overnight through immediate action. We will be exploring deep relationship building and spiritual practice as a means to accomplish Justice.

AJ (He/Him) is the Executive Director of UU Justice Ministry of CA (UUJMCA) and an Orange County (OC) native. He has centered his ministry in rooting out oppression by developing deep and meaningful relationships, collaboration, and coalition building. AJ was a leader in the OC No on Prop 8 Campaign, founding board member of the OC Equality Coalition and in 2010 developed Progressive Interfaith Alliance. He has been pivotal in the creation of Co UU’s for Racial Justice and The Mountain Top: A UU BIPOC Community. He is also developing Bridges: A UU Network aimed at supporting small congregations and emerging ministries across the country.

Worship leader: AJ Blackwood, M. Div.

Worship Associate: Karen Skold

Special music: Veronika Agranov-Dafoe, piano
