In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day, which is this Wednesday, we’ll reflect on the importance of really feeling and experiencing our connection to the earth and all of its creatures and phenomena.
The Justice Partner for April 2020, as chosen by the congregation at the annual meeting, is Acterra.
On Sunday, April 19, Violet Saena will speak in both services about Acterra, and the entire offering collection that day will be donated to them. If you miss the service on April 19, you may make a donation at the Action Council table on any Sunday in April or in the office. Please make checks payable to UUCPA and put “Justice Partner” in the memo line. UUCPA is proud to support such a valuable community organization.
