In our intergenerational Thanksgiving service, we give thanks for interdependence — an important corrective to the individualism that characterizes so much of our culture.

Appropriately, we launch our annual Guest at Your Table program, supporting the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee in connecting us to people all around the world.

Children are invited to stay during the entire service for intergenerational services, and this is a chance for older kids to build the skill of participating in common worship with other age groups — but there will also be supervised childcare on the playground as usual, for those kids who aren’t ready to sit through the entire service.  You can expect many kid-friendly elements, especially during the 9:30 service.
