You’re the new kid in town . . . Your friend moved away and now you don’t have anyone to play with . . . You go to an activity you like, hoping to meet new friends, but everyone there seems to know everyone else . . . You’re lonely and you wonder if there’s something wrong with you . . .These all sound like kids’ problems. But they are also problems for millions of adults. How do we make friends as adults? If we’re not particularly looking for friends, how do we support other adults who are trying to connect?

Thank you to Barbara Smith-Thomas, who was the winning bidder on the Auction item, “You Choose the Sermon Topic.”

Our grand Steinway C piano is back, beautifully restored both inside and out! Liz Russ will sing while Veronika welcomes the piano back home, the choir sings “Somos El Barco,” and Thida Cornes shares both a reflection and her testimony about why UUCPA matters to her. It’s a great day to bring a friend–or meet a potential new one!

Worship leader: Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern

Worship Associate: Thida Cornes

Special music: Liz Russ, soprano
