Speaker: Rev. Kenneth Collier

The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Collier, our previous settled Parish Minister, served with UUCPA from 1991 to 2001. Before a career that took him to UU congregations in Durham, NC, Gaithersburg, MD, Burke, VA, Philadelphia, and Santa Barbara, he earned a PhD in philosophy and was a college professor of philosophy. Now retired, he lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Anne Anderson. During his time at UUCPA, he introduced our centering bell, instituted the Worship Associates, and helped establish Buddhism as one of the congregation’s spiritual paths.

Ken’s book Embracing Presence: An Understanding of Religion and Spirituality was published in January, 2022.
