We’ll have the annual intergenerational Thanksgiving service on Sun., Nov. 24. The service will be led by Rev. Dan Harper, and will focus on stories of how Thanksgiving has been celebrated over the centuries. There will be dramatic readings and music from long-time Sunday school teachers Greg Becker, Kris Geering, and Beth Nord — and poetry readings by Marilyn Austin and Susan Owicki. Edie Keating, another long-time Sunday school teacher, will offer a small multi-sensory surprise in the middle of the service. For the youngest children, there will be coloring pages. And for the adults, there will be plenty to think about as you reflect on how Thanksgiving celebrations have changed over the years, and how you want to change it for the future.
