Campus Workday
Please join the workday crew on Friday, July 3, 9:00 – 12:00 or later –> Note, Friday, not Saturday. This is a work holiday for most.
We will be renting the lift to access the main hall ceiling. Probably some will continue to work after lunch. So workday will include:
- Setting up the lift in the main hall.
- Replacing all high light bulbs.
- Examining the fixtures for maintenance.
- Replacing all smoke detectors.
- Taking down the quilts and dusting them off.
- Lightly blowing dust off the branch.
- Outside
- Accessing 2 of the parking lot light fixtures electrical connections.
That will be the big focus. Beyond that, there is more on our list:
- Gardening
- Installing a soap dispenser.
- A little more on the walkway trip hazard.
Bring a hat and gloves, and a water bottle if it is warm. There will be some snacks to keep us going.
We welcome all help, but the lift work will probably go into the afternoon.

The Campus Workdays happen monthly, usually on the 1st Saturday of each month:

Consider making things even better by joining others at the monthly workday right here at UUCPA. There will be plenty of fine company. Come for some or all of the time. Projects might include painting some trim and kitchen cabinets, pruning shrubs, organizing closets, plus some jobs you may have in mind.
