There are 2 groups for parents and caregivers at UUCPA: Spiritual Adventures in Parenting and Parents/Caregivers of Teens.

Spiritual Adventures in Parenting

If you are a parent to a child between the ages of birth and tween, we invite you to join UUCPA’s monthly parent group, Spiritual Adventures In Parenting!

We meet on the third Sunday of each month, from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., following the church service. Childcare is provided, and families can choose to have lunch together afterwards, if they wish.

Together, we:

  • Explore the spiritual dimensions and meaning of our parenting and
  • Cultivate deep connections with one another.

At each session, we share our own joys and challenges as parents. We also draw on readings from Chaos,
Wonder,
and the Spiritual
Adventure of
Parenting, an anthology of very short essays on parenting and spirituality published by the UUA’s Skinner House Books (2011), as spurs to conversation and spiritual reflection.

The group is facilitated by fellow UUCPA parent Matt Rosin.
