Expanding Our Ideas of Gender

Rev. Dan Harper and members of the OWL teaching staff will present contemporary evolving notions of gender. Beginning with the basics of how gender identity is different from biological sex, we’ll discuss everything from the wide range of gender identities that are opening, to the ways different cultures conceive of gender identity, to how changing notions of gender identity are changing American society. As a special bonus, we’ll look at some great children’s books!
