No RE, Intergenerational Service Instead – There is no RE this Sunday for all ages (K-8, Coming of Age, OWL, SHYG). Instead everyone is invited to watch (and participate if you would like) in the No Rehearsal Pagaent during the 9:30 and 11:00 services. We rejoice in the everyday miracles of the season, marking winter solstice, telling the story of Hanukah– which begins tonight–and inviting all who wish to play a part to help make the story of Jesus’s birth come to life.
Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a series of comprehensive and age-appropriate sexuality education curricula, developed jointly by the Unitarian Universalist Association and United Church of Christ, for six age groups: grades K-2, grades 4-6, grades 7-9, grades 10-12, young adults, and adults.
This class, for youth in grades 7-9 runs weekly on Sunday afternoons from September through May, skipping some Sundays. To participate in this program, you must have pre-registered and have a completed release form on file. No drop-ins.
