Nature Fun – Spring Project for gr. K-5
Date(s) - 04/14/2019
9:30 am - 10:30 am
During the spring months, grade-level Sunday School makes way for the mixed-age Spring Project. Kids like coming to the Spring Project, whatever the theme, because they get to choose the fun activities they prefer, and they get to be with other kids of different ages.
During the spring project, both the preschool classes and the middle school classes will continue to meet as usual.
From March 31, through May 5, 2019 the 9:30 a.m. kids program will focus on “Nature Fun.” All ages from gr. K-5 will meet together, and kids will decide which Nature Fun activity they would like to try that week. Middle schoolers from the Ecojustice class will help adults lead activities that will include nature crafts, cooking with natural ingredients, cooking outdoors, games, singing nature-themed songs, and more. It is rumored that Trash Man, an evil genius who spreads yucky trash everywhere, may visit Nature Fun, but we are sure he will be defeated by Eco Super Hero.
If you would like to lead a nature-themed activity during 3 or more weeks of Nature Fun, please contact Dan Harper. We have lots of ideas for activities you could lead, or you could use an idea of your own.
