Jun 19 we will discuss the book, The Fifth Season, by N. K. Jemison
The novel The Fifth Season, by N. K. Jemisin, takes place on a world that experiences catastrophic climate change periodically, and explores how the society and science have evolved in response. Winner of the Hugo Award, 2016. The Fifth Season is the first book in the Broken Earth trilogy. Critics have said:
