Meet Our Ministers

Rev. Peter Farriday joins us for two years starting in August 2025 to help us discern our main needs and challenges, goals and desires, and together lay a solid foundation for the future, thriving with a new longer-term minister.

Rev. Catherine (Cat) Boyle joined us in 2022. Embracing wonder, embracing curiosity and embracing life is her credo. Cat's background in theater shows up in her creativity in religious education, and infuses her worship with energy.

Justice Partner

Justice Partner - Heart and Home

The Justice Partner for March is Heart and Home.

Heart and Home, founded by Stanford students, provides night-time winter shelter for fifteen unhoused women in the general Palo Alto vicinity, and is hosted by UUCPA in February and March.  Operated by H+H and rotating between Palo Alto houses of faith, the shelter is run by volunteers from the community and Stanford University, and is staffed by trained professionals.  Website: https://www.hhcollab.org/.

We gather on unceded, stolen land of the Tamien and Ramaytush people. We acknowledge these communities in the interest of truth and justice, awareness and gratitude. In order to dismantle the ongoing legacies of settler colonialism, we pledge to join the Tamien and Ramaytush people whenever they ask us for solidarity.
