Black residents are disappearing from Silicon Valley at an alarming rate, a trend driven by persistent disparities in housing, employment, and opportunity. As we examine the data and the lived experiences behind these numbers, it becomes clear—it’s no wonder these outcomes exist. Yet, amid these challenges, we believe in the transformative power of community. By coming together, supporting one another, and working for justice, we can change the trajectory and build a more inclusive and hopeful future for all.
Chuck Cantrell, a respected local economist and community leader, will share powerful insights on how race continues to shape outcomes within our community. His research and vision for practical solutions highlight the importance of working together to build a more just and hopeful future for everyone.
