On February 1 join us for a special service: we celebrate our shared ministry together! Rev. Cat Boyle has journeyed with us since August 2022, serving under a contract. Last Spring this congregation voted to change that relationship. We voted to “call” Rev. Cat as our settled assistant minister of religious education. This Installation Service is the celebration of that vote. It marks the moment where we stop saying “for now” and start saying “for the future.”
We are gathering to transform a legal agreement into a spiritual covenant, promising to journey together in hope and shared purpose for years to come. During the service, we will seal this promise with an intergenerational Fire Communion, in the spirit of the returning light, we will gather to rekindle our community chalice and tend the flame of our shared ministry.
