Meet Our Ministers

Rev. Peter Farriday joins us for two years starting in August 2025 to help us discern our main needs and challenges, goals and desires, and together lay a solid foundation for the future, thriving with a new longer-term minister.

Rev. Catherine (Cat) Boyle joined us in 2022. Embracing wonder, embracing curiosity and embracing life is her credo. Cat's background in theater shows up in her creativity in religious education, and infuses her worship with energy.

Learn about all our ministers here.

Justice Partner

Justice Partner - Colectivo Acción Latina de Ambiente (ALA)

The Justice Partner for December is Colectivo Acción Latina de Ambiente (ALA).

Colectivo Accion Latina de Ambiente (ALA) was founded on August 1st, 2011, in San Jose. Its founders, Rodrigo García and Omar Núñez, decided to open a space for non-hetero conforming Latinos and Latinas who speak Spanish. From the beginning, ALA was created with the idea of being an incubator for new Latino leaders. The leadership structure is spread out horizontally, where a group of leaders, chosen by ALA’s membership, share the responsibilities of coordination and maintenance of the group.  Programs include regular social/support meetings, an annual retreat, and a Spanish-language theater company that reflects Latinx LGBTQ experiences.  All who participate do so on a volunteer basis.  All funds are raised through events and donations.

We gather on unceded, stolen land of the Tamien and Ramaytush people. We acknowledge these communities in the interest of truth and justice, awareness and gratitude. In order to dismantle the ongoing legacies of settler colonialism, we pledge to join the Tamien and Ramaytush people whenever they ask us for solidarity.
