Description:. Back by popular demand! On Sunday, August 23, 2026, poets, would-be poets, and poetry lovers are invited to a poetry reading gathering in the Fireside Room immediately following the church service. Both Richard Heydt and Barbara Saxton, will be back again to facilitate, where all are invited to bring an original or inspirational poem to share. All genres and themes welcome—funny, inspiring, wise, mysterious. And if you just want to attend to listen, that’s okay too. This Adult Learning Journey class is an invitation to share poems, as healing, and as a doorway to joy and deeper meaning poetry. To be clear, this is a poetry reading gathering.

Fourth Sunday Waffles and snacks will be available after the service. Please use a paper plate.  Suggested contribution $2.
Child care will be provided.
