ALJ Class – A Research-Based Exploration of After-Death Communication

The UUCPA ALJ committee announces A Research-Based Exploration of After-Death Communication class led by Sally Clark.  This class explores the meaningful and often deeply personal topic of After-Death Communication (ADC). It offers an opportunity to consider the many ways people may experience a sense of connection with loved ones who have transitioned out of physical form. The instructor, Sally Clark, a member of UUCPA, brings personal experiences to the discussion, along with the uplifting experience of hearing others share their own stories of connection. Many participants report that they have never previously shared these experiences with anyone, making the class a supportive space for openness and reflection. Studies have also found that people who report ADCs may experience a reduced fear of death, a renewed sense of connection with the deceased, and an increased sense of spirituality. Through personal stories, reflection, and discussion of research, the class invites participants to explore this fascinating subject with curiosity, openness, and compassion. Ultimately, the class provides a welcoming environment for examining experiences that can bring comfort, meaning, hope, and a profound sense of continued connection. Sally has been a high school teacher for 30 years and a therapist for 25 years, holding a Master’s Degree in transpersonal psychology from JFK University.
