This Sunday Religious education classes all start at 10:30 AM together in the Main Hall and then attend class together after the Story for All Ages.
  • Red Class (Preschool – Kindergarten): In this session, children investigate a tape measure by pulling, extending, comparing lengths, and following its path. As they experiment, they discover that understanding often comes from trying, observing, and trying again. Instead of explaining how the tape measure works, adults join children in exploring it together, encouraging curiosity, persistence, and joyful investigation.
  • Orange Class (Grades 1-3): All month long, we are exploring how to be courageous people. This week, we are exploring how to be
  • courageous about our true selves
  • Purple Class (Grades 4-7): Participants explore the foundational story of John Murray and Thomas Potter through a staged reading, examining how personal doubt, persistence, and profound questions helped establish Universalism in North America.
  • Coming of Age: How faith gives us values to live with, heroes to look up to, a history to belong to, and a place to come home to. Plus ropes course planning.
  • No SHYG this week.

Because we believe in learning by doing, a very important part of our religious education is participation, with all ages, in the first part of regular worship services. Then during Sunday school, young people learn and play with people their age. Feel free to ask Sunday school teachers what they did this week. If you would like to review curriculum materials that are not online, please contact Rev. Cat Boyle.

Reminders are sent via the weekly Sunday School Reminder email. If you didn’t get it, please email cyrecommittee@uucpa.org to get on our list.Find out more at: https://www.uucpa.org/learning/children-and-youth/sunday-morning-program-for-families/
