Join us as we present the Bay Area’s premier gospel choir, the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, in an uplifting evening which will leave you feeling like you have truly crossed some bridges. This award-winning group, under the direction of Emmy Award-winning Terrance Kelly, embodies a community of diverse races, cultures and faiths. Their mission is to inspire joy and unity among all people through black gospel and spiritual music. Come join us, and be uplifted, entertained, and perhaps even changed. One-hundred percent of profits from your ticket purchase will go directly to Destiny Arts Center, an Oakland-based non-profit whose mission is to end isolation, prejudice and violence in the lives of young people.

Destiny Arts Center accomplishes this mission by:

• Offering skills training to youth, ages 3-18, through after-school, weekend and summer programs in the performing and martial arts, and violence prevention at their main site, and in outreach programs at local schools and community centers
• Providing youth with caring adult mentors
• Supporting youth in developing an individualized series of artistic expression
• Giving youth opportunities to share a message of peace and empowerment through performances, events, and workshops
• Nurturing the physical, emotional and spiritual development of young people
