Gratitude Writing

It’s easy to take the good things and people in our lives for granted, but taking time to give thanks for them can help you develop a greater appreciation for the good in your life. A number of psychological research studies have documented the positive effect that recording those good things have on our well-being and on our relationships. One way to approach giving thanks is to keep a gratitude journal. During this class, we will talk about how to start, the positive that can come from keeping a gratitude journal, and how to keep up the practice once the newness has worn off.

Everyone at UUCPA knows Susan Plass for her cooking, but she is also a very spiritual person who has provided leadership in many areas, including Chalice Circles and the Writing Group.
