Join us for a five-mile hike along spectacular Lands End at the northwestern tip of San Francisco. This is a gorgeous hike over the clifftops high above crashing surf and through windswept cypress woodlands with picturesque views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Point Bonita Lighthouse. We’ll even walk a labyrinth on a rock outcrop at the ocean’s edge.

We leave from the UU Fellowship (2124 Brewster at Lowell) in Redwood City at 9am, Saturday, October 13. Arrive early to arrange carpools. If you want to meet us at the trail-head, we’re parking in the lot at Lands End Lookout, on Point Lobos Avenue at El Camino del Mar in San Francisco. It’s just above Louis’ Restaurant. We expect to arrive there between 9:45 – 10am.

Bring lunch and water. If you have binoculars, you may want to bring them, too, as there are several well-placed lookouts along the trail from which we might spot something interesting.

Please note the date: October 13. This is the second Saturday of the month as members of UUFRC will be participating in the Fall Workday on October 6.
