The second session will cover the teachings and the philosophy – the Great Texts, which talk about the eternal verities, like Truth, the Goal of life, and even the limited value of these Texts; the Epics, which through stories illustrate how humans put them into practice; the Sutras, which deal with specific matter like Yoga. It will also cover some of the teachings of Bhagavad Gita.

Mr. Raghu Seshadri came to this great and very admirable country in 1979, and after getting Master’s degrees in Computer Science at Oklahoma University and in Computer Engineering from UCSC, began work in the Valley, first at Fairchild and then several other companies. He currently works at Opsec Security. He has always been drawn to the simple and sophisticated philosophies of Hinduism, which he finds to be humane, sensible, practical, beautiful, and quite often, brilliant.
