Housing Segregation Book Talk

In the book, The Color of Law author Richard Rothstein explored the history of how government at all levels created residential segregation. Now he and his daughter, Leah Rothstein, have written a sequel entitled Just Action: Challenging the Segregation Enacted Under the Color of Law which will help us understand how to begin rectifying this situation.
On Thursday, October 26, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the authors will give a talk on their new book. The talk will take place at the Congregational Church of San Mateo at 225 Tilton Avenue in San Mateo. The UUCPA Action Council is a co-sponsor of this event and will have a presence there.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The authors will be giving a second talk on their book in Palo Alto on Wednesday, November 15, sponsored by Palo Alto City Councilmember, Julie Lythcott-Haims. This event is billed as a conversation about Just Action which will be moderated by Councilmember Lythcott-Haims. More details about this event and how to register will be sent out in early November.
