Information and Organizing Session for Trans and Migrant Liberation

With the incoming new administration promising fascist attacks against those most vulnerable in our country, let’s begin the new year by organizing for liberation. Two of the main targets for hate and oppression have always been migrants and transgender folks. The criminalization of our trans and gender expansive beloveds is so serious that they fit the criteria to be designated as internally displaced people (IDPs) by the United Nations, and governmental and vigilante action against migrants is on the rise. These attacks are just going to get worse after inauguration day. Join Heather Vickery, Coordinator for Congregational Activism at the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC), to learn more about what is happening for these groups and to start organizing for their liberation.

Both members of the wider community and UUCPA folks are warmly encouraged to participate and organize together!
