Online Adult Religious Ed. Class, various topics – Social movements
On Wed., April 22, I’ll offer an online class based on a suggestion from a regular attendee of the Wed. eve. series — We’ll look at how first century followers of Jesus organized a very effective social movement, and ask whether effective social movements require martyrs (think of the Civil Rights Movement). We’ll also ask whether we can learn anything from that first century movement that will help us effect social change today. I’ll send out a Zoom link early next week.
Join a weekly online class with Dan Harper, as we talk about a variety of religion-related topics (the exact topic will be announced the preceding Sunday). Stay for the whole session, or drop in when you can.
