Our Jewish and Christian Heritage

Among the sources we explicitly claim as Unitarian Universalists are “Jewish and Christian teachings which call us to respond to God’s love by loving our neighbors as ourselves.” So what exactly do Judaism and Christianity teach, and how do they relate to our religion today? This introduction will draw heavily on religious practices and only lightly on scriptures, to complement Rev. Dan Harper’s class on Western religious texts.
