Shards of Honor

Sci-Fi / Fantasy Discussion Group
Date/Time
Date(s) - 04/20/2022
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Our next meeting is April 20th, 7- 8:30 pm, we’ve agreed to discuss Shards Of Honor, by Lois McMaster Bujold.
From Amazon:
Shards of Honor is the novel in which Lois McMaster Bujold introduced the SF world to Barrayar and Aral Vorkosigan, Beta Colony and Cordelia Naismith. From this beginning the author has created a multi-generational saga spanning time as well as space. Bujold is generally recognized as the current exemplar of the character-based SF adventure story.
From Jane. C:
This is Bujold’s first novel. There are over 15 novels in the Vorkosigan saga, plus a few short stories and novellas. Three of the novels won Hugos. Not this one, but I still love it, and it’s a great place to start the series, though you can really dip in anywhere.
