Join the UUCPA Adult Choir on Saturday, May 18 @ 7:30pm and Sunday, May 19 @ 2pm, as we present a beautiful concert of choral masterworks with special guest vocal soloists (some of the finest young, up-and-coming singers in the Bay Area!) and a chamber orchestra. The program will include Mozart’s Regina Coeli; Poulenc’s Gloria; Five Hebrew Love Songs by Eric Whitacre; a beautiful setting of Ralph Waldo Emerson’s text “Alway Something Sings” by composer Dan Forrest; and an exciting selection of solos from the operatic repertoire performed by our special guest artists. There will be a reception following each concert. Tickets will be available beginning mid-April at the church office during normal office hours, or on the patio each Sunday following the 11am service, for a suggested donation of $20. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of each concert for a suggested donation of $25. No one will be turned away for lack of ability to donate. This concert is a fundraiser for UUCPA.
