Welcoming Our Neighbors: San Antonio Road Masjid (Mosque)

In our ongoing effort to build connections with different religious groups in our community, 19 members of UUCPA visited the San Antonio Road Masjid (mosque) last August. On Saturday March 4, we will welcome some of their members to UUCPA. Jack Owicki will hold a special session of his “Discovering UUCPA” class, and we will enjoy lunch together. The visitors from the Masjid will bring Halal meat, and members of our ARE Committee will provide the rest of the food.

This gathering will be held in the Main Hall, in order to accommodate a large group. We hope that many UUCPA members and friends will attend— especially those who visited the Masjid in August. This is a special opportunity to get to know our Muslim neighbors.
