In Case You Missed It: Highlights from the 2025 Annual Meeting

Thank you to everyone who participated in UUCPA’s Annual Meeting on April 27! With a strong turnout, we accomplished a lot together:

  • New Leadership Elected: We warmly welcome our incoming Board of Trustees members—Robert Neff, Steve Ludington, Liam Mina, Heather Chen, Arhan Dutta, David Puryear (full terms), and Gary Rosin (partial term). We also elected Linda Henigin, Elsa Schafer, Maricia Scott, Trisha Suppes, and Sarah Doxiadis to the Nominating Committee, and Karen Skold and Stephen Kampmeier as our General Assembly delegates. Thank you all for your willingness to serve!
  • FY 2025–26 Budget Approved: Thanks to your immediate and generous response to our call for action —and the additional increases many of you made to help close the ~$46K gap—the Finance Committee was able to present a balanced budget that fully supports our programs and commitments. The congregation unanimously approved the FY25–26 budget.
  • Justice Partners Selected: We approved a strong slate of monthly Justice Partners for the coming year. New partners joining us are Canopy (April), United Effort (September), and Colectivo AcciĂłn Latina de Ambiente (December).
  • Campus Vision Update: An update was shared, with discussion about supply costs and timing.
  • Gratitude Shared: We honored many long-serving but often unseen leaders and volunteers, including Robert Neff, Edie Keating, our Worship Tech Team, our CYRE Sunday School Teachers, Ed Haertel, and Tamara Harr.

Thanks to all who helped shape the future of our community!
