The Action Council and the Board of Trustees have approved a request from the Welcoming team for UUCPA to be a co-sponsor of the following event coming in January 2027:
Nico Lang Book Event on January 18, 2027: Book talk by longtime LGBTQ+ journalist Nico Lang (they/them) about their recent book, American Teenager: How Trans Kids Are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy In a Turbulent Era (Abrams Press, 2024), to be hosted by First Presbyterian Church Palo Alto on Monday, January 18 (MLK, Jr. Day), 2027.
