Our Justice Partner for March is Heart and Home. Heart and Home provides night-time winter shelter for fifteen unhoused women in the general Palo Alto vicinity. Rotating between Palo Alto houses of faith, the shelter is run by volunteers from the community and Stanford University, and is staffed by trained professionals. This coming Sunday, March 1, Edie Keating will speak about Heart and Home at our morning worship service, and the entire offering collection that day will be donated to them. In addition to the service Sunday, you may make a donation in the church office. Please make checks payable to UUCPA and put “Justice Partner” in the memo line. UUCPA is proud to support such a valuable community organization.
