Our Justice Partner for May is American Muslim Voice. AMV is local grassroots, nonviolent, inclusive, civil, immigrant and human rights organization. AMV hosts open houses, peace picnics and other events, including the popular EID celebrations. They also provide the Muslim perspective through teach-in opportunities at schools, colleges, universities, places of worship, and peace conventions.
Sunday, May 17, Samina Sundas, joins us to speak about AMV at our morning worship service, and the entire offering collection that day will be donated to them. In addition to the service Sunday, you may make a donation in the church office. Please make checks payable to UUCPA and put “Justice Partner” in the memo line. UUCPA is proud to support such a valuable community organization.
