After almost 22 years as UUCPA’s Parish Minister, Amy gives her last sermon today. It’s about something our society desperately needs nowadays. It’s a proven cure for isolation, apathy, anti-intellectualism, and the undermining of our democracy. What it provides is missing from most of our homes, schools, and workplaces, no matter how good they are. All in all, we’re very fortunate it exists already–but it could use our help to be even more effective.
We’ll close with a Chocolate Communion, so please have a small piece of chocolate ready if you’re online, or if you’re not a chocolate-eater, something sweet. (Both fair-trade chocolate and non-chocolate alternatives will also be available for the people in the Main Hall.)
Worship leader: Rev. Amy Zucker Morgenstern
Worship Associate: Barbara Saxton
Special music: Thomas Shoebotham, cello
