UUCPA Campus Closures during the Campus Vision Remodel – Week of October 26

This weekly announcement describes the current closures and cautions on campus, as construction begins on our Campus Vision remodel project . Current status on closures can also be found here on the church website.

WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START THE PROJECT ON OCTOBER 27 AS ORIGINALLY PLANNED. WE DO NOT HAVE A NEW DATE AT THIS TIME.

FOR YOUR SAFETY AT ALL TIMES, PLEASE RESPECT BARRIERS AND SIGNAGE ON CAMPUS.

CURRENT STATUS: There are NO current closures on campus.

KITCHEN/CHOIR ROOM

Most of the contents of the kitchen and choir room have been moved into storage. But the rooms themselves are still open for use, for example, for meal prep work or dishwashing.

MAIN HALL/LOBBY

The main hall and lobby are open for regular use.

PARKING

The parking lot is open for regular use.

COMING SOON:

At this time, we expect the Kitchen to remain open through the end of Nov. When we have more specific dates, we will communicate them here.

When the project starts, the Relocation Committee will add signage and stripes to convert the entrance driveway to 2-way traffic with no parking. This is in preparation for closure of the exit driveway for excavation. This traffic pattern is expected to last 2-3 weeks.
