While the remodel of the UUCPA campus hasn’t started yet, we are ready! Due to the hard work of the Campus Vision Task Force, our contractor assures us that there will be evening and weekend access to all UUCPA buildings during construction. What great news!
That means the following will continue as usual:
- Sunday worship—in person and on Zoom and coffee, tea, and hot cocoa on the patio after service
- The choir—weekly rehearsals beginning the end of summer to bring anthems to us during Sunday worship. (Just a note – the choir does not sing during summer services.)
- Second Sunday lunches—with delicious menus from Edie Keating and the fantastic kitchen team
- Fourth Sunday brunch—waffles and more on the patio after service
This information was first shared at the celebratory and fun groundbreaking ceremony (thanks to Barbara Smith-Thomas and Edie Keating) on Sunday, July 6, to mark the imminent start of our momentous Campus Vision remodel project—on which the Campus Vision Task Force has worked over the last 4+ years to get us to this important milestone.
A big thank you to the following for their ongoing hard work on this project:
- Campus Vision Task Force—Sally Ahnger, Randy Helmonds, Kevin Crane, Edie Keating, Jeff Cashdollar, and Barbara Smith-Thomas
- Relocation Team—Jane Chronis, Mayo Tsuzuki, and Jeff Cashdollar
- Aesthetics Team—Amy Finch and Eleanor Lin
In faith,
Mayo Tsuzuki
