The Action Council and the UUCPA Board recommend a YES vote on Proposition 1: Bonds for Housing Affordability Programs. The request to support this proposition came to us from the Rev. Dr. G. Penny Nixon, Faith Director of the Housing Leadership Council and Co-Director of the Peninsula Solidarity Cohort. The proposition aligns with UUCPA’s long time advocacy for affordable housing and for the unhoused. A YES vote is also recommended by the League of Women Voters and other respected organizations.
