SciFi/Fantasy Discussion Group Next Meeting — Sept 20 — “Star Trek” (2009 film)
September 16th, 2023 by webadminOur next meeting is September 20, 7-8:30, on Zoom. We will discuss the movie “Star Trek”, the 2009 film with Chris Pine as Kirk. All are welcome to join. Just watch the movie ahead of time.
The Zoom number has CHANGED due to Zoombombing in the spring. Don’t use an old link. This link on the UUCPA website (SciFi_9_20) has all the current Zoom information.
At the end of the meeting, we will choose a book for our October meeting and another movie for November. Then we’ll be off and running with our new every-month-except-December-and-Summer schedule.

High Schooler Looking for Community Service Hours?

Second Sunday Lunch Sept 10 – Soup, Sandwiches and Salad
September 9th, 2023 by webadminJoin us for Second Sunday Lunch, a home-cooked, nutritious, delicious food for a very reasonable donation. We go through the buffet line in the Fireside Room and eat in the Main Hall or outdoors, weather permitting. If you’re new or visiting, be our guest. We want you to stay for lunch, and we welcome new volunteers! Help is needed for Sunday food preparation and for cleanup after lunch. Some volunteers help most second Sundays; others help occasionally. Contact Edie if you would like to join us in the kitchen.
